The Skate School LLC offers a variety of programs for skaters of all ages, levels, and interests. Whether you are looking for an entertaining recreational activity or a sport with a competitive edge, The Skate School has a class for you.

LEARN TO SKATE

The Skate School LLC offers recreational skating lessons for all ages, and from the beginner to intermediate levels.  Whether you are taking your first steps on the ice or are ready to learn more advanced moves, the Skate School has a class for you. Boys and girls can learn in hockey or figure skates, getting the basic techniques to prepare them for either sport.

LEARN TO SKATE HOCKEY

These classes are recommended for skaters interested in playing hockey. The focus for these classes is on skating skills. The classes are a must for boys and girls who want to enroll in the Pre Hockey Program or USA hockey I program. Stronger skaters make better hockey players!

ADVANCED FIGURE SKATING

For figure skaters who are interested in continually developing their skills, the Skate School LLC offers instructional classes for girls and boys to progress through the levels through testing. Skaters must have passed Beta to enter into the figure skating instructional program. Figure skates must be worn in class in addition to figure skating apparel. Classes include bridge programs to USFS programs.

TEAM SKATING

The Skate School LLC has been fielding teams since 1997. Team programs vary year to year depending on interest and trends in the industry. We run our teams as a program, not a board run organization. This allows us to continually respond to the changing landscape of team sports while providing stable management and programming feeders.  Similar to house hockey programs, our entry level younger teams will skate out of their "home rink" and travel teams may skate at additional locations if additional ice is needed. For the 09-10 season the "home rink" is designated as Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva Il.

COMPETITIONS AND SHOWS

The fun of the sport of figure skating is participating in Ice shows and competitions. We offer a very inclusive program as all levels are invited to participate from Tot through our high level competitive skaters. These events are designed to instill the love of performing in our skaters, while they require dedication and deliver self-confidence. Here at The Skate School, we believe in goals and performance, with a focus on fun! All levels are invited to participate but must be enrolled in The Skate School's programs.
