 Skate School LLC staff coach  childhood coach of the new Olympic Gold medalist Evan Lysacek

Congratulations to Evan Lysacek and his former childhood coach Candy Brown Bureck. Candy is currently teaching skate school classes and her competitive skaters at our Skate School at the Fox Valley Ice Arena location. Evan will be coming back to Fox Valley Ice Arena for the annual Evening of Hope skating show to be held on September 11th along with other national, world and Olympic skaters. Evening of hope is held in the honor of Stephanie Joseph and is co sponsored with Make A Wish foundation. All the staff and skaters at The Skate School LLC are very proud of Candy and Evan.

Dana Sivak competes at USFS Midwestern Championships

Dana Sivak a long time competitive skater at Fox Valley Ice Arena placed in the top 10 at the USFS Midwestern Championships. Dana was last years recipient of the Stephanie Joseph Spirit Award given out for outstanding leadership in the sport of figure skating.

Mary Kate Fee 2009 Recipient of The Stephanie Joseph Spirit Award

Mary Kate Fee a resident of St Charles was awarded The Stephanie Joseph Spirit Award for outstanding leadership in the sport of figure skating for 2009. The award was presented at the annual holiday ice show at Fox Valley Ice Arena on Dec 5th . Mary Kate's leadership by example to younger skaters won her the award this year.
