Diane Dailing

Diane has over 38 years of experience in the skating field. She has coached individual skaters and teams, and managed programs at rinks throughout the Chicagoland area. Diane has held various rink positions including Skating Director, Programs Director, Fitness Director and Pro Shop Manager. Diane has also skated professionally with The Ice Follies International Tour. Diane earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from Northern Illinois University. Upon graduation she worked for the YMCA as a national trainer and corporate fitness facility manager. Diane also is a long time member of the Ice Skating Institute and has earned a Certificate of Arena Management. She is also a member of PSA. She founded The Skate School LLC in 2003 and is currently operating the company out of The Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois.

Karin Straub (Michigan)

Karin has been involved in the skating industry for over 25 years. She is a Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State University. Karin has been with The Skate School LLC since 2004 and is a partner and the acting Regional Manager for the Michigan locations including Griffs Ice House, The Summit at The Capital Centre, and the Washington Park Dome rink.
